Trail running is back at Tarra-Bulga National Park!

We invite you to come Run Tarra-Bulga and discover the magic of the Tarra-Bulga National Park and its surrounds.

Known for its cool temperate rainforests, giant Mountain Ash trees, beautiful fern gullies and ancient myrtle beeches, Tarra-Bulga is just over 2 hours east of Melbourne, nestled in rolling hills of South Gippsland.

Run over the impressive Corrigan’s Suspension Bridge, which stretches through the rainforest canopy, while taking in the spectacular views of the lush fern gully on the forest floor below.

Tarra-Bulga National Park on Brataualung Country, and is highly significant to Gunaikurnai Traditional Owners due to its remarkable Aboriginal cultural heritage.

Behind the scenes, RTB 2025 is made up of the team who brings you GSER, helped bring you Duncans Run, and are trail lovers alike.

Legacy

Duncan's Run was run as a celebration of Duncan Orr's life and was Gippsland's first 100km trail run. The event attracted runners from all over the country to experience the unique Grand Strzelecki trail and Tarra-Bulga National Park. From 2013, 8 editions of the event were held, with 2022 announced as the final event to be organised by the original Duncan's Run committee. While the name 'Duncan's Run' has been retired, Run Tarra Bulga continues the Duncans Run legacy of bringing people to the trails that Duncan loved.
