RTB 2025 KEY INFORMATION:

MUST HAVES:

Tarra-Bulga is renown for leeches and the best to combat them is Bushmans Heavy Duty.

MANDATORY GEAR: 

42Km + 25Km

Snake Bandage with tension indicators 

1L of Water (Minimum)

Water Proof Jacket (Weather Dependant)

6km and 2km Kids

No Mandatory gear required.

START TIMES:

42km - 7am, 25km - 8am, 6km - 9am, and Kids - 11am.

WAVE STARTS:

Due to runner numbers - we’ve introduced WAVE starts for our 42km, 25km and 6km events, this will ensure you enjoy the trails and the beauty of Tarra-Bulga NP.

BIB PICK UP:

At EVENT HQ - Friday (11th) 4pm until 7pm. Saturday (12th) from 6am.

AID STATIONS:

42km - 4 Official - 10km, 19.5km, 23.5km and 31.5km - water point at 14.5km.
25km - 2 Official - 10km and 19.5km - water point at 14.5km.
Aid stations will contain - Water, VFuel Endurance Drink Mix, Coke, Bananas, Lollies and Chips, we will also have EASTER EGGS and Hot Cross Buns!
Please be reminded we are a CUP Free Event - there will be no cups at Aid stations.

TRAIL CONDITIONS:

Over the past 4 weeks, we have done extensive trail clearing, but in saying there is a few large trees to hurdle, please be patient and look after all other runners around you, (its no parkrun).

CUT OFFS:

25Km 

10am - AID STATION 1, Tarra Valley (10km).

12noon - AID STATION 2 - Water Point, Grand Ridge Road (14.5km).

42Km

13:30pm - AID STATION 4, Drysdale Extension (31.5km).

*9am tarra valley 

*11am at Grand Ridge road 

(* = advised target times to reach Aid Station 4 Cut off time)

CAR POOLING:

Due to limited parking, we are asking everyone to car pool with your trail mates and trail crew - this will help us stay on the good side of the Balook community

FINISH LINE DROP BAG and CHANGE TENTS:

We’ll provide provisions for finish line drop bags and change tents (located next to the portable toilets).  

DROP BAGS ON COURSE

We can provide this service if you require it, please asdvise which aid station and we'll assist.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at mail@ultraendurance.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Should you wish to withdraw from the event BEFORE March 16 2025, we will refund your entry, minus an administration fee ($15-$30 pending distance).

Should you wish to withdraw from the event AFTER March 16 2025, as per the conditions of entry, we cannot refund your entry. 

Why? Many reasons, but mostly because a significant portion of your entry fee will have already been spent on printing bibs, a timing chip, permit inclusions and external contractors etc. IMPORTANT – there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule including if you have a doctor's certificates, a great sob story, etc). Sorry but sunk costs are sunk costs.

WHAT ABOUT FORWARDING MY ENTRY TO A FUTURE EVENT? 

No. For the same reason as per above, the money you paid to enter the original event has already been spent on the goods and services (materials, logistics, food, bibs, timing chips) associated with your entry for the event you entered. 

WHAT ABOUT…CAN I TRANSFER MY ENTRY TO ANOTHER PERSON? 

Yep, we have setup a link on our entry page that will take care of transferring your entry to someone else who will take your entry and convert it into theirs. 

WHAT ABOUT… IF I DOWNGRADE TO A LOWER PRICE POINT EVENT, CAN I GET THE DIFFERENCE BACK? 

Nup. Same reason as above. The way event logistics work, most money from entry fees is spent well prior to the actual event. We don’t sit on pools of cash laying around just doing nothing ;). It’s all in the accounts of those people and businesses and services we need to pay to ensure the event runs.
